By downloading, accessing, or using the Sunya Sleep mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App. Sunya Sleep is operated from the Republic of Ireland.
Eligibility: The App is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country, if higher) to use the App. If you are under 18, you may not use the App. The App is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, sublicense, scrape, reverse-engineer, or use the App to provide services to third parties.
Sunya Sleep is a wellness, productivity, and somatic regulation tool. It is NOT a medical device, nor is it a substitute for professional medical advice, psychiatric diagnosis, therapy, or treatment.
No Medical Relationship: Your use of the App does not create a doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship. The AI-generated insights, somatic protocols, and personalized journey content are for educational and self-regulation purposes only.
Physical Risks: The App includes guided breathing protocols (Pranayama) that may involve breath retention, as well as mild isometric muscle tension and somatic exercises in Home sessions and 7-day Journeys. If you have cardiovascular issues, asthma, COPD, a history of severe panic disorders, or are pregnant, you must consult a physician before using these features. You agree to use these tools at your own risk and stop immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or physical discomfort.
Clarity Session Disclaimer: The "Clarity Session" feature is an automated, AI-driven coaching and action-planning tool designed for productivity, focus, and executive function. It is not a substitute for psychological counseling or psychotherapy. Do not use this feature for psychiatric emergencies. By using this feature, you acknowledge that Sunya Sleep is not liable for actions you take based on generated plans.
Journeys Disclaimer: "Journeys" are personalized, AI-generated 7-day programs (themes, inner focus, and daily session scripts). They are not individualized therapy, medical treatment, or crisis care. You are responsible for how you apply journey content. Do not use Journeys in place of professional care for mental health emergencies.
Sunya Sleep utilizes automated Artificial Intelligence (AI) to process text and voice inputs. This App is not monitored by human professionals.
While the App features automated routing to display emergency helpline numbers (such as 112, 50808, or 988) if severe distress is detected, we cannot guarantee the AI will catch every crisis, nor can the App dispatch emergency services. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, or are having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, you must immediately call your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital.
The features of Sunya Sleep are powered by advanced, third-party Large Language Models and speech services (including OpenAI and Anthropic), routed through our secure infrastructure. While we strive for accuracy, AI is fundamentally probabilistic and can occasionally produce inaccurate, inappropriate, or out-of-context outputs (known as "hallucinations").
